Reflection of Chicago Architecture

    There are four main constructions' styles in Chicago, cast-iron construction, ballon-frame constrution, steel-frame construction and reinforced concrete. In downtown, the style what people see most are steel-frame and reinforced concrete. 

    Chicago Architecture has its own special charateristic. We went to the Architecture Center this week. We saw a movie about the development of Chicago Architecture there. For me, the rebuliding of the city after Chicago Fire makes Chicago more modern and beautiful. Of course that fire was horrible and destroied everything, but because of that fire, Chicago has a opportunity to rebirth.

    Walking on the street, I can feel that there is a morden atmosphere around Chicago. In addiction, there are few buildings in different styles make this city more colorful. They look so harmonious even though they are not in the same style.
